they are teardrop shaped. i have only seen it in california's laguna beach, someone was selling them. what are they called and where can i get one? do you think i have not already looked online? seriously.

I have myself a sturdy hook, half an inch in diameter and an inch and a half of threading. I've found the joist in the ceiling. Is one joist enough to support a chair and body weight? Or should I run a board along the ceiling and draw support from two joists? (Can't access from attic, so it would be screwing a board into both joists, then the chair hook into the board. I'd really rather not....but if I have to I will :) Thanks!

Does anyone know if a hammock swing chair or just a padded swing chair can be attached to a child's swing set? My son loves to swing but he has a very dificult time using a regular swing due to some motor delays. He needs something to support his back and he is already too big for an infant swing. Can this be done and is it safe? Thanks-

id like one for my bedroom that hangs from the ceiling but one thats really simple and all cushion and not expensive not one of the sky cruses or one of the bubble chairs or the wicker kind iv been searching all over but cant find one thanks for your help:)

Help how do you put up a hammock chair? ok see i have this chair and its supposed to hang from the ceiling but i lost the pieces for it. there is a wodden rod at the top of th chair and then on either side there is some rope which attaches to a ring and the top. You hang the chair from this ring; so how would i hang it up

I bought a Seacliff 3 person hammock swing at Walmart and the top awning has ripped. Any ideas where to get a replacement. Walmart does not sell replacements and searching yielded no results. Any hints as to where I can go. Thanks.

It is made out of rope like a hammock. It used to be white but over the years it has changed color a bit. I want to get it white again without harming the rope.
